Saline Transport Media (STM)
Each unit of Saline Transport Media (STM) consists of a single 10ml sample collection tube filled with either 1.5ml (STM-1.5) or 2.0ml (STM-2.0) of STM. STM consists of a non-toxic solution of .9% Sodium Chloride in water. STM does not provide any preservative properties. When properly sealed, sample collection tubes have been verified to not leak during air transport.
